Mandate
The purpose of this art piece was to create an urban typographic installation that could potentially bring a moment of reflection to the viewer.
Due to this art installation being assigned during the end of the semester, it was an appropriate time to bring positive thoughts towards my classmates around the institution.
PROCESS
Hold On To Your Fire was a fitting sentence towards this installation. It encouraged my classmates to push through the last couple of weeks of the semester. The process and materials consisted of a recycled piece of plywood, paint, clay and 2000 matches which were individually cut to spell out the word fire.

INSTALLATION + REACTIONS
It was placed in front of the main entrance of a building of Concordia University. Some of the reactions consisted of looking at the installation, pointing at the installation and taking pictures.
FIRING
A firing is needed when matches are involved, therefore a firing took place for celebrating another final completed.
